Paul Perras
Founder and Managing Director of Perras Consulting, Paul has a proven record of success assisting organizations with their recruitment, assessment and leadership development requirements. A trusted advisor and business mentor, he builds long-term, trust-based relationships, and has an established reputation for his commitment to excellence and focus on results.
Prior to forming Perras Consulting in 1999, Paul held leadership roles as a Principal in the executive search practices at KPMG Consulting and Deloitte Consulting (formerly Touche Ross). He also served as a Vice President with DBM Canada, where he worked with organizations and individuals related to career management, transition and coaching.
During his 20 plus years in executive search, Paul has worked with many of Canada's top employers, successfully completing hundreds of searches for leadership positions in various industry sectors, including Life Sciences, Consumer Products, Industrial, Technology, Communications and Media – across a broad range of functional areas.
Building on his extensive recruitment experience, he also works as a coach / mentor assisting business owners, individuals and teams to further develop their management and leadership skills, enhance their performance and improve the quality of their lives. These activities provide Paul with the opportunity to work with other like-minded individuals who are committed to business success, professional development and personal growth.
Our firm's coaching / mentoring programs involve working with leaders at various organizational levels related to: onboarding / new-in-role integration; developing "high potentials"; peak performance; discussing sensitive / confidential issues; taking on new challenges; strengthening emotional intelligence; assessments; career management / "best-fit"; and communication / presentation skills development.
A graduate of Cornell University with a B.Sc. in Business, Paul is also a Certified Management Consultant through CMC-Canada, a Certified Coach through the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and the International Coach Federation (ICF), and a Board-Certified Master Coach through the American Board of Neuro Linguistic Programming (ABNLP).
He is a member of several industry / professional associations, and supports various charitable and community-based organizations.
